Fellowship Program

In summer 2021, the Sarita and Claire Wright Lucas Foundation launched a Summer Fellowship Program to provide law students pursuing careers as public prosecutors with a paid summer internship opportunity in participating District Attorney’s offices. The program accepts applications from students at ABA-accredited law schools who are interested in exploring public interest careers as Prosecutors.

Fellowship Applications are Open!

Applications are now open for the 2025 SCWLF District Attorney Fellowship, due March 31, 2025. The SCWLF Fellowship program aims to ensure that 2L law students can gain substantive work experience and meaningful opportunities in District Attorney’s Offices. Each Fellow receives a $7,000 stipend for the summer fellowship. SCWLF awards Fellowships with the Massachusetts and DeKalb, Georgia District Attorney’s offices.

All applicants must have received acceptance letters for the current year’s summer internship program in a Massachusetts or DeKalb, Georgia District Attorney’s Office
- Complete the Awardee Questionnaire
- Photos - for the award announcement and social media.
- Awardee Video - Create a TikTok video of yourself discussing the importance of the SCWLF
- Instagram Post - Create a social media post about the foundation and explain how this award will benefit you.
- Completion - Assignment of Rights Form
